{Tue} Technique: Layered Stamping on One-Layer Butterfly Card
Tuesday, June 14, 2016
Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!
Do you usually make ONE-LAYER cards?
I usually start with a 4 x 5.25" panel and adhere it on a 4.25 x 5.5" card base.
But sometimes, you just have to try something different, right?
Here's my one-layer for a few challenges:
I used stamps from Club Scrap (Dahlia Greeting and Jumbo unmounted stamps) and Stampin'Up! (the layered butterfly). I used a lighter color for the base and purple for the details on the butterfly.
I used Memento ink pads (Memento GUM DROPS 12 Dew Drop Ink Pads) and my MISTI Stamping Tool (I use the medium one, but there's a MINI MISTI, too) to layer the butterfly.

BTW, I have a coupon code for Simon Says Stamp!!!
Use the CODE "SUNNY" to take $5 off, any purchase of $5 or more (valid until July 13th, 11:59 EST - not valid on Card Kits)!

That's a great splatter, really striking. The butterfly and sentiment are so pretty, and purple and gold are always a winning combo. Fab LIM card!

Wow this is simply great. Thank you for joining our Challenge last week and hope you join us again in our new Challenge beginning today at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with an encouragement from God's Word in Hebrews 3:6 which says, "But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast." Have a blessed week...
