Here's a card with embossed background and handmade flowers...

Even the center of one was handmade with ribbon and die cut heart sealed in clear glaze.

I've been painting some model horses lately...

I use metallic acrylic paints sometimes and here's what I do with the left over paint...

I just add a little bit of water, brush on watercolor paper and use them on mixed media cards. 

For this card, I brushed 2 colors on dry embossed white cardstock (I’m using a new embossing folder I bought not too long ago) and even colored a few embossed hearts (badly)...but if I had to do it again, I'd only emboss the panel after watercoloring...lol! You could barely see the hearts after getting the paper wet...so, I had to emboss a second time.

I adde some embellishments I made with punches, colored with alcohol-based markers and/or metallic pens. They have a coat or 2 of glossy medium.

Using 2 stamps from Hero Arts that I had for a while but never used before...a background stamp and layering whales stamp set.

I added a die cut heart...almost a one-layer card but I stamped on a panel, then adhered it on card base.

I made a quick CAS card to share today...

The flowers/leaves were colored with Fabrico markers + watercolored using the ink from the markers...I scribbled on my craft mat and used wet paintbrushes to pick up the colors.

Other supplies: Stamps (CTMH - flowers are from this set) + Thin Cut + Distress Stickles + Foam Tape.

I made a card today, inspired by the colors Red, White & Blue...

I'm trying out a 3-D embossing folder I got (Star Fall - Sizzix) and the best way to get a good 3-D impression is to spray water on your paper before embossing. The only thing is that you'll have wait for it to dry before using it on a project...

I brushed dye inks on the embossed panel and die cut it. Then, I brushed it with CTMH Clear Shimmer Brush.

Sentiment (CTMH) was stamped and fussy cut, and I also brushed some red ink + Clear Shimmer Brush before adhering on card with Foam Tape.

Finally, I'm feeling better enough to craft a bit (my whole family had COVID)...

I was just watching "Encanto" for the "100th" time a couple days ago...so, I'm still in butterflies and flowers mode...but I guess will also start some "Summer" projects soon...

This card was made using supplies I already had in my scrap box...all I had to do was color the butterfly with alcohol-based markers.
