Guest DT Card for STAMPlorations: Butterfly Kisses Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I'm back as a Guest Designer at STAMPlorations for the mid-month inspiration!!!

This month's Theme & Sketch Challenge is:

And here's the sketch:

You can use just the Theme, just the Sketch, or both! You'll have until the end of the month to play!

Here's my card, using STAMPlorations' digital stamp. I went Anything Goes (...although it looks like the sketch, if you flip and turn it...right?):

I printed the Butterfly Square stamp twice.

On the first square (bottom), I used Distress Stain and some alcohol-based markers to color it.

I fussy cut the 3 butterflies, from the 2nd square I printed, and used Distress Stain to color them.

I added them to the bottom square with foam tape, added some Dimensional Magic on the bodies and sprinkled some glitter on:

The background panel was dry embossed (with Cuttlebug), colored with Distress Stain and heat embossed with purple and silver powders. I added washi tape, black sequined-thread and hand-drew a border with a black pen.
Adhered it on card base and adhered the Butterfly square on card, once dry.

P.S.: Don't forget to visit THIS post for my Blog Candy!!! (or click HERE) Today is the last day to comment! =)

Challenges:

Mixed Media {Mon}: Heart2Heart March Guest DT - Monogram

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

This is my 4th week as a Guest Designer for Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge Blog!
They have a new challenge every Monday and you have until the end of the month to link your creations, using CTMH products.

This week's Challenge: Monograms.

I started with the base...adhering pieces of patterned papers on the sides.

On a 8" x 12" piece of white cardstock, I stamped letter "Fs" in different fonts.

I threw in a little Mixed Media - using paint (All-Purpose Paint and Gelato diluted in water) - coloring the letters, splattering and watercoloring the edges. Let it dry.

After it dried, I layered more patterned papers, the 5 x 7 photo and the title (foam stickers by American Crafts).

Then, I used a bunch of different stamp sets to stamping and embellishments to the page.

Challenges:

1. Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge: Monograms

2. Scrapbook March Spelling Bee Challenge: S-O-N-S (Splatter-Orange-Numbers-"more" Splatter)

Heart2Heart March Guest DT: Color Fern

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

This is my third week as a Guest Designer for Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge Blog!
They have a new challenge every Monday and you have until the end of the month to link your creations, using CTMH products.

This week is a color challenge: Fern.

I didn't have any cardstock (...actually, I did...but was too lazy to look for it), so I decided to use what I had in hand: ShinHan Touch Twin markers (Leaf Green and Sap Green)!

Here's my card:

I trimmed a green mat and colored the edges with the markers.
I stamped the background (Botanical Backgrounds) in black ink and colored them with the markers.
I stamped "happy" (WOTG) on white cardstock, outlined with the markers and fussy cut it.
I adhered the mat and panel on card base, added a strip of silver vellum, and adhered the sentiment.
Finally, I added some green flowers (Prima) and some pearls for the centers.

Challenges:
1. Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge: Fern
2. Simon Says Wed: A Bit O' Green

3. Time Out #51: Spring

4. Stamping Sensations March: Flower Power

Heart2Heart March Guest DT: Retirement Challenge

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

This is my second week as a Guest Designer for Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge Blog!
They have a new challenge every Monday and you have until the end of the month to link your creations, using CTMH products.

The challenge this week is...Retirement.

I decided to use a "retired" CTMH Stamp of the Month, called Beloved Bouquet.

The card could also be used as a "Retirement" Card.

I cut a card with Artfully Sent CTMH Cricut cartridge and backed it with Kaleidoscope and Zoe papers.
Draw "strings", using a silver gel pen, on the cut card base.
Ink and stamp flowers and leaves stamps and cut them out. I used 2 different shades of ink, one for the outlined image and one for the bold image.
Ink and stamp "baby breath" and cut them out.

Arrange your "bouquet" on the card, using foam tape for the flowers. Add sequins.

This is what it looks from the inside...I used a border punch on Kaleidoscope patterned paper:

Challenges:
1. H2H CTMH Challenge: Retirement
2. Word Art Wed #221: AGoes (#4)
3. Die Cut Divas: Something Spring
4. Crafting from the Heart #102: Always AGoes
5. Craft Your Passion #302: Always AGoes

Heart2Heart March Guest DT: Prickly Hug Card

(I have 2 posts today...please, click HERE for Club Scrap's Artist Team Blog Hop)

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I'm a Guest Designer for Heart2Heart CTMH Challenge Blog in March!
They have a new challenge every Monday and you have until the end of the month to link your creations, using CTMH products.

Here's my card for the first challenge of the month (although it's not quite March, yet...ha! But they didn't want to wait 'til the 7th to start!):

The challenge this week is "3"...I chose to use 3 cactus plants.

The stamp set is called "Stuck On You". I stamped the images and cut them out (although they have a compatible die set). I colored them with alcohol-based markers.

I blended ink on the card base. On the white panel, I stamped some dots several times for the "sand" and pierced it with my piercing tool.

I arranged my pots and plants and adhered them on.

Finally, I added a sentiment, some sequins and a couple of tiny flowers (left overs from my border punch).

Challenges:
1. Heart2Heart Challenge Blog: 3
2. Craft Your Passion #301: Always Anything Goes
3. Simon Says Wed Anything Goes
4. Simon Says Work It Wed Feb 2016

Artistic Inspirations

Word Art Wed Aug Guest DT: Psalm 119:90

(I have 2 posts today...if you're looking for Club Scrap Blog Hop, please click HERE)

Hello, crafty friends!

This is my last week as a Guest DT over at Word Art Wednesday!

The sponsors for this week are: Heart & Soul Rubber Stamps and Deedee's Digis.
Link your projects (up to 5) for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

The verse is Psalm 119:90 this week and I went a little more clean for my card:

Challenge:

Artistic Inspirations #138: Anything Goes

I simply used a star border punch and "everywhere" punch (Martha Stewart) on patterned paper to create my constellation.

I added silver shimmer trim (CTMH) and glitter gel on the smaller punched stars.

I printed my verse, trimmed it and inked the edges.

Finally, I added two enamel black stars.

Hope you've enjoyed my cards!

Thanks to everyone at Word Art Wednesday for the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for a wonderful challenge blog!

Have a nice day!

Word Art Wednesday Aug Guest DT: Romans 15:13

(I have 2 posts today, so if you're looking for my Decorate to Celebrate and MHK Designs projects, please click HERE)

Hello, crafty friends!

This is my third week as a Guest DT over at Word Art Wednesday!

The sponsors for this week are: Stamp & Create and Moonlighting by Mary.
Link your projects (up to 5) for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

The verse for this week is Romans 15:13 and here's my card:

I used striped patterned paper and stamped flowers from Penny Black Inc. I added polka dots washi tape and some glitter gel (CTMH) on flowers.

I printed the verse and die cut it with a scalloped oval die (Spellbinders). I inked the edges and highlighted some words with Copic markers.

I used my ScanNCut to cut the dark blue scallop oval, adhered the verse panel and added to the card with foam tape (for dimension).

Then, I finished the card with a striped ribbon + bow.

Have a nice day!
