Black Friday

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

A card using scrap papers, a die cut and a pumpkin embellishment I made...

I inked the pumpkin stamp in different colors, added some stamped leaves in red and flowers in black and adhered it on card with foam tape. I had a stamped flower in my scrap box, so I colored it with Shimmer Brushes and adhered on the pumpkin. Finally, I added a Blue Belle sequin on a flower and stamped a sentiment using CTMH Avocado ink pad.

3-D Cards

{Tue} Technique: Potted Plants Fancy Fold Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I made a Pop-Up Box Card a long time ago (click HERE to see the post)...so, thought it was time to make similar cards with the same concept, but different designs...

These cards were inspired by Challenges that are using Book covers as inspiration...

The first one is very easy, since I used a Die Cut Set (Card In a Box - Christmas by Sizzix) plus other dies by Spellbinders...do you see a camouflaged birdie?

Card #1

The second one was inspired by a card I saw on the homepage of SplitCoastStampers.com + me trying to make the most out of double-sided papers (I plan to make a video soon once I recover my voice...who knows when that will happen! lol!)

Card #2

This is a Trifold Card...and this is the front:

...and when you open it:

I used double-sided PP and some die cuts from Spellbinders, others are Sizzix and SU!, CTMH Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set, alcohol-based markers, Blue Belle Sequins, and an embossing folder from my stash. I made the box myself (unlike the previous box, which was die cut).

I was inspired by the "There's a Tiger in the Garden" cover...the plants, butterfly and flowers...just don't have a tiger on it...but I used the color orange!

Challenges:

Card #1

1. The Library Challenge #78: Garden Birdwatcher's Bible (inspired by elements from the cover)

2. Double Trouble #78: Wearin' o' the Green partnering with Use Your Stuff

3. Cuttlebug Mania: Today our Favorite Color is Green

Card #2

1. Double D: Book Covers

2. Beyond The Blue #5: Rustic Wood Background

3. Unicorn Challenge #63: Make it Feminine

4. Try it On Tuesday: Say it With Flowers

French Dies {Fri}: CAS Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

A quick card using some Cricut Die Cut border, paper and sequins from my stash...

I don't remember where that's from...could be one of CTMH Cricut cartridges or maybe it was a free one...but I just cut it using white cardstock and colored the birds with alcohol-based marker.

Challenges:

1. Less is More #435: In a Roll
