Before I announce the winner of my latest giveaway, I have a tag (inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2016 - May) to share:


The technique was Tissue Tape Resist, so I used some tape, and stamped flowers on (Tim Holtz's/Stampers Anonymous) with India Ink (ClearSnap). I colored the flowers with Copic markers and Distress Markers.
I applied gel sticks on one flower and on tag, blending the colors with my fingers. I also applied Whipped Spackle using a stencil (Mixed Media Kit by Faber-Castell).
The flower stamps have a very thin line, so I outlined them with a black marker.
I decided to add more stamping...the stems (colored with ShinHan marker) and more flowers.
I stamped the crazy bird on cardstock, colored it with pencils and Copic marker, cut it out and adhered it on tag.
Finally, I added some dimensional paint on the center of one of the flowers, added the fabric flowers with brads and the fibers.

Here's a quick tag...


I used Club Scrap's Feb Kit (Crewel & Unusual) and CTMH's sentiment stamp.
I used one of the Jumbo Craft Bobbins, adhered a piece of Patterned Paper, and attached some Fibers.
I stamped heart (from Crewel & Unusual Jumbo stamp set) on ink smooshed paper and cut out a freestyle heart around it. I hand drew a heart using alcohol-based markers.
I stamped sentiment on ink smooshed paper and cut out a banner. Then, I adhered the heart and sentiment on tag. Finally, I decided to add some glitter on the patterned paper.

A quick tag to share today...
Since my son broke my camera card, I had to use my cellphone...not a big fan, but whatchagonnado? =)


The tag was ink smooshed using 2 colors of All-Purpose Ink (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko), trimmed to size and I used a scallop edge punch on the lower side.
Sentiment stamp is from Club Scrap (Celebrate Greeting stamp set), and snowman is my hand-drawn illustration digital stamp (Snowman Wishes - Stamprints). Both were colored with Copic markers.
Tie is folded washi tape.

The card:


The technique...Homemade Glitter Glue!


I was crafting with my boys and I had some leftover liquid glue (Martha Stewart) in a cup. I didn't want to waste it, so I added some glitter...and some more fell into the cup (due to lack of attention and/or clumsiness), making it thicker than it was.
So, I spread it with a popsicle stick on a piece of paper, let it dry and tore it for my card.
I'll try it with other liquid glues and see the results...
