For My Beautiful Friend Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

Since we were not able to visit family this year, I decided to make some cards for my kids' cousin...she is 8 years-old. My kids will also make her some cards, then we'll mail them all together.

I used one stamp set (CTMH Stamp of the Month - For My Beautiful Friend) and kept it mostly black & white or uncolored, so she can color them and give them to her friends...

Christmas in July - Cedar & Pine | Process Video of 2 pages

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Do you like Christmas as much as I do?

Here is a scrapbook page I made using Close To My Heart Cedar & Pine Scrapbooking Workshop Kit...

I altered it only a little bit, but the kit comes with instructions and all the supplies you need to create 4 pages and one 2-page layout. All you'd need is adhesive and/or foam tape.

Here's another scrapbook page I made this month for a sketch challenge!

I still have to add some journaling in the speech bubbles, and wondering if I should color the stamped images...but I kinda like them Black & White...what do you think?

{Tue} Technique

{Tue} Technique: Stencil Tracing - CAS Mix Up Challenge

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I saw this challenge at CAS Mix Up July Stencil Challenge...

...and thought it was interesting going back to some early techniques that we used to try on our paper crafting journey! Haven't done this in a loong time (click HERE to see my Mixed-Media Art Journal Spread)...usually I spray or blend inks, so it was fun making some cards with this technique:

I made a quick video showing how I made my cards using some die-cut left over "stencils":

I pre-printed some Club Scrap Fly a Kite digital papers and my Stamprints digital stamps (available on Etsy) on cardstock and trimmed into panels to go on my card bases. Then, added more designs with the stencil tracing technique and embellished with Jane Davenport's Glitter markers.

Mixed Media {Mon}: "Good-Bye" Blue Puppies Page + Process Video

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I've been cleaning up and re-organizing some stuff and got to some boxes...with scraps from other projects...so here's what I made for a couple of challenges...an easy mixed-media scrapbook page:

In my box #1, I found some patterned papers and left over papers that were created using spray and stencil and a flower monoprint. I cut them out and arranged them on my scrapbook page.

I added additional papers + stamping (CTMH stamps - You Make Me Happy, Snuggle Up and a consultant set).

I choose the color blue for my monochromatic theme from More Than Words July Challenge and even though I didn't really add the word "goodbye" on the page, it represents my puppies that went to new homes about a year ago, so I had to say "goodbye" to them at that time.

I also made a Process Video, so hope you enjoy it! And I would love for you to subscribe to my YouTube Channel! (sorry about the "white noise"...my fan was really loud!!!)
