("insert" happy dance here)
My Happy, Thankful & Blessed Dragonfly card won September's {be inspired} challenge at Unity Stamp Co.!!!
Check out the newest challenge (the Magic of Christmas) for a chance to win...stamps, of course!
OK, back to Earth...
I was able to make a card today, after my son N went to sleep...
Supplies:
Stamps by Unity Stamp Co.: Wishing You Happy Bird (stamp of the week collection) and Feather Flight (itty bitty collection)
Washi tapes (CTMH-retired and The Paper Studio)
Prima paper flowers
Studio G gemstones
Copic markers
ShinHan Touch Twin markers
Brilliance and Memento ink pads
reinkers
Well, I had watercolored the paper previously, so it was easy to add the stamped images, layered washi tape (to cover up a mistake*, I must admit...), flowers and gemstones. I colored the bird with Copic and ShinHan Touch Twin markers.
*TIP: check your rubber stamps before you actually stamp them...I stamped the sentiment upside down...that's why I had to cover it with washi tapes!
Maybe I'll make another card showing what I really had in mind for this card...check back or follow my blog! =)
Entering this card in:
1. Unity's Friends with Flair
2. Word Art Wednesday #153: Anything Goes
3. SSS Wed Challenge: Use Watercolors
Thanks for letting me brag! =)
