This is a tutu I made for my niece, who just turned 1 not too long ago...
It was really easy to make!
I used woven elastic and black and green tulle that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I cut the green tulle shorter than the black ones and just tied the strips around the elastic.
And I had some left over tulle, so I used it to embellish the gift bag.
These are the invitations for my son's 2nd birthday party...can you guess his favorite animal at the moment? =)
The papers are from BasicGrey (old stuff!), and stamps are from Colorbok, Fancy Pants Designs and Scrappy Cat.
I'll post more about his party next week!

I have not posted last week at all! I was a little bit sick and busy with my son's birthday party...I'll be sharing some photos later (after I get pics from my photographer).
This is supposed to be a 2-page layout, but I haven't finished the second page yet. So far, it doesn't have any stamping on it...quite surprising, I know! If you know me, you know that I HAVE to have some stamping! Maybe on the second page...

I've been busy...planning my son's birthday party...working on a monthly Project Life style scrapbook album (more on that later)...
So, I'll post an old 2-page Layout that I made:
I always enjoy visiting Anderson Japanese Gardens, located in Rockford, IL. It's one of the best, if not "the" best Japanese Garden in the U.S.
All supplies are from Fancy Pants Designs.
I just happened to have the perfect sticker for it...it's not CTMH, I probably bought it at JoAnn Fabrics years...really...I mean YEARS ago! =)
I used the sun from New Baby Stamp Set (C1541) and colored it with a Copic Marker.
The flowers, "stems" and clouds are fromChantilly Scrapbooking Kit (G1053). One cloud was stamped on patterned paper, cut out and adhered with 3-D foam tape (Z1151). I added paper flowers and pink glitter gem to the centers. Cotton Candy (Z2193) was used to stamp the flowers.
Grass border punch is by Fiskars, patterned paper by BasicGrey, paper flowers by Prima and the "rain" is...can you guess what it is?
It's Tim Holtz® Distress Stickles™ Glitter Glue. At first, I just added dots of glitter...but I thought they were too big and decided to change their shape. I used a embossing stylus to make them look like raindrops...didn't like them...so, I decided to use my fingers to take glitter off the paper...AHA! I kept spreading the glitter more and more...and the result is what you're seeing! =) Thanks for stopping by! Lilian
