The Card Concept DT #41: Relax Card - Chairs

Welcome, crafty friends!

Time for a new challenge at The Card Concept! This is the beautiful photo inspiration:

Feel free to make a card in the style of your choice!
The styles are explained HERE.

I was inspired by the textures, colors and the here's my card for the Mixed Media category:

I distressed the edges of my first layer and stenciled Nice to See You (Club Scrap) with white acrylic paint. After it dried, I taped some washi tape (Tim Holtz).
I tore the top panel and stamped some chairs from Stampin'Up! with black ink.
I stamped R-E-L-A-X (Keyboard Uppercase - CTMH) in grey, cut them out and adhered them on.
Finally, I added a bow.
Patterned papers are MME.

Have a nice day!

PS26 #19: Family Digital Scrapbook Layout

Happy Saturday!

I have a digital scrapbook layout to share today! This is for my Project Scrapbook26 #19! Only seven more to go!

I used Studio J (when I used to be a CTMH consultant)...I used a template, but I think I altered the design a bit for this one. I chose my papers and embellishments and added some journaling.
I ended up printing this layout.

Have a nice weekend!

Club Scrap September Blog Hop and Decorate to Celebrate DT Challenge #110

Hello, crafty friends!

Welcome to Club Scrap's Blog Hop - featuring the Transformations Collection!!!

If you came from Hetty's Blog, you're in the right place!
Your next stop will be Donna's Blog!

I love pretty patterned papers and this collection is just gorgeous! I used the supplies that come in the Transformations Club Scrap Deluxe Kit.

Here are my projects...

I stamped the stones stamp (from Transformations Collection stamp set) on the specialty paper. I used Memento Black Tuxedo ink pad, but I should have used Staz-On instead...for a darker, more defined black.

But look at the shiny accents on the patterned and specialty paper!

I also stamped the sentiment from Transformations Art Nouveau stamp set in black, and inked the edges with Brilliance Pearlescent ink pad. Then, I added some pearls.

My second card is very simple...both stones and sentiment are from Transformations Collection stamp set

I simply stamped the stones and used the Transformations Leaf and Stone stencil to sponge different colors on them...

I stamped the sentiment, cut the words apart and adhered them on the stones with the glue pen.

I added some fibers and the Antique Chinese Coin with glue pen. I adhered the stones with foam tapes and highlighted some words with Copic markers.

The third project could be a 5x7 card or a wall decor piece...this is also my DT project for Decorate to Celebrate #110!
I am moving next week and I am trying to "kill as many birds with a stone" (please, note that I would never kill birds with no birds were harmed)! =)

I cut a card using Artfully Sent CTMH Cricut cartridge, backed it up with the gorgeous patterned paper and hand-drew a frame around it using black pen and Copic marker.
I stamped the shell (from Transformations Borders & Backgrounds stamp set) several times, colored it with Distress Ink...

 ...and sprayed them with water...

After they are dry, cut them out and adhere on the card, as shown. I also added some pearls in the centers.

Hope you enjoyed my projects!
Don't forget to go to Donna's Blog next!

Then, I added washi tape and ribbon at the bottom.

And if you're looking for some stamping...this is what's inside the card...

Stamps are CTMH and Inkadinkado.

And instead of having multiples posts...I have a second card to share today!
My friend Mynn started an Etsy Shop and she has digital stamp sets and patterned papers for sale!
I'm showcasing Mum's the Word today!

Addicted to Stamps & More DT Challenge #163: Holiday

(I have 2 posts today...if you're looking for the Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge post, click HERE)

Hello, crafty friends!

Time for ATSM Holiday Challenge!!!

Our sponsor is:

Autumn is almost here and I just love the change of colors! So, I made a card to celebrate Thanksgiving:

I used a beautiful stamp from Club Scrap - Transformations Collection stamp set.
I used Distress Inks from Tim Holtz and gel sticks (aka Gelatos for kids).
The green strips on both sides were scraps from this card (click HERE to see the card).
I printed "Happy Thanksgiving" (I didn't have a stamp in the right size), cut a strip and used gel sticks, blending the colors with my fingers.

Have a nice week!

Club Scrap Sep Artitst Team Challenge: Sketches

Hello, crafty friends!

The Artist Team at Club Scrap was challenged...this month's challenge is to create based on sketches!
We have a scrapbook and a card sketch...I decided to use the card sketch.
You can see the post at Club Scrap's blog tomorrow!

I die cut some Transformations patterned papers and embellishment cutapart with my Spellbinder die cut (Doily Circle) and got busy!

Here's my first card:

I used supplies from the Transformations Deluxe Kit.

I stamped the background (Transformations Collection Unmounted Stamp Set) using VersaMark and "Love" (Transformations Borders & Backgrounds Stamp Set) with Memento ink pad (but I also colored it with Distress Marker - Tim Holtz).
I layered the die cuts, added the strip (scrap from this project - click HERE) and the antique Chinese coin.
Then, I added Woven Strands rhinestones, adhering them with a glue pen. I finished it with hand-drawn frames using a black pen.

My second card:

I stamped the gingko leaf from the Transformations Collection Unmounted Stamp Set on the panel a few times and once on a white cardstock circle, cut using Cricut.
I die cut a patterned paper. I stamped the coin, also from the Transformations Collection Unmounted Stamp Set, and fussy cut it.
I layered the elements, added the quote from the embellishment cutapart, adhered the coin with foam tape and inked the card's edges.

The third card:

This collection has so many pretty papers, I almost didn't want to use them!!!
I cut a 5 x 5 panel and die cut 2 more doily circles.
For the shell (Transformations Borders & Backgrounds Stamp Set), I inked it with Distress Ink, sprayed with water, let dry and cut it out.
I layered the circles, added the fiber and the coconut shell button.
Finally, I added the antique Chinese coin using a glue pen and some pearls.
