Before I announce the winner of my latest giveaway, I have a tag (inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2016 - May) to share:


The technique was Tissue Tape Resist, so I used some tape, and stamped flowers on (Tim Holtz's/Stampers Anonymous) with India Ink (ClearSnap). I colored the flowers with Copic markers and Distress Markers.
I applied gel sticks on one flower and on tag, blending the colors with my fingers. I also applied Whipped Spackle using a stencil (Mixed Media Kit by Faber-Castell).
The flower stamps have a very thin line, so I outlined them with a black marker.
I decided to add more stamping...the stems (colored with ShinHan marker) and more flowers.
I stamped the crazy bird on cardstock, colored it with pencils and Copic marker, cut it out and adhered it on tag.
Finally, I added some dimensional paint on the center of one of the flowers, added the fabric flowers with brads and the fibers.

I embossed the background panel with Cuttlebug, gently inked it with VersaMark and heat embossed it in gold.
I didn't have a big teacup stamp, so I drew my own Flower Teacup, printed it and fussy cut it. I colored it with Copic markers and adhered it on with foam tape.
I printed flowers from Ann's Garden Digi Stamp Set, colored them with alcohol-based markers and cut them out. I placed them inside the teacup and also added a paper flower.
I stamped sentiment (CTMH) on a banner, adhered on card and added some dimensional paint.



I also added dimensional paint on the flower's center.
Finally, I brushed some diluted All-Puporse Ink (Imagine Crafts) on the bottom of the card.

I made a 8 x 8.5" Album for our family's summer vacation later in June!
Yay! I'm ahead of the game...since I'm so behind in my scrapbooking already! =)

I trimmed 14 sheets of prints and plain papers to size 8" x 8.5" (I added 0.5" because of the binding wire...this way, I get a 8" x 8" page).
I adhered 2 sheets together for the front cover and did the same for the back cover.

I basically decorated the album with print papers and Embellishment Cutaparts (click on photos for a larger view):























After the pages were decorated, I used my Heidi Swapp Cinch to punch holes and add the binding wire to put the album together.

For the cover, I used print papers and ribbon (from Creative License Fibers):



The pages look bare right now, but once I have the pictures, I might embellish the pages a little bit more: with journaling, memorabilia, etc...

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Welcome to MHKDesigns' monthly challenge!
We are sharing our creations using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop (but if you don't have them yet, you can still play).

The background panel was dry embossed (with Cuttlebug), colored with Distress Stain and heat embossed with purple and silver powders. I added washi tape, black sequined-thread and hand-drew a border with a black pen.
Adhered it on card base and adhered the Butterfly square on card, once dry.

I stamped the ombre chevron background and, without re-inking, I stamped it on another panel. I drew faux stitches on the panel with Copic marker, layered it on green cardstock and on stamped card base.
I added a die-cut word (Simon Says Stamp) inked with pastel pink and sequins.
I stamped Dahlia (Club Scrap) on vellum, heat embossed it in silver, colored with alcohol-based markers and fussy cut it out.
I adhered it on card and added a stamped butterfly.
