French Dies {Fri}: Botanical Cards

Friday, April 23, 2021

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I have a few cards to share using Die Cuts + Botanical Themes...

Here's a way (or 2) to make the most out of your die cut scraps...

Card #1 - Trim a card front panel and after you die cut, use the scrap as a window or frame:

I popped the frame with Foam Tape on a stamped panel. Then, added stamped/shaped flowers (they were colored with alcohol-based markers).

#2 - Plan where you die cut on a panel and use the negative as part of your card design
(card on left):

Die cuts: Spellbinders and Sizzix, Washi Tapes from my stash.

  2. You've given me food for thought, Lilian. Usually when I'm die cutting, I try to get things as close to the edge as possible - to save paper. But now, I just might have a go with planning those die cuts and making a card front! So very clever of you! Your cards turned out wonderfully, and I am loving the bird within your circles. So tropical and pretty. Thank you for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe. Bev

  6. What a beautiful Mother's Day card. The flowers are gorgeous. I like the "organic" edge of your window. So fun that it's not straight lines. Thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas.
