French Dies {Fri}: Easel Cards + Pop-Up Box Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

A few Fun-Fold Cards using die cuts from my stash...

Card #1

Easel Card: Embossing Folder for the panel (SU!); my own illustration Flower Wreath digi stamp and butterfly from Daisy Meadow - Scrapbooking stamp set (CTMH - with Thin Cuts available) - colored with alcohol-based markers and adhered with Foam Tape; metallic paints, washi tape, patterned paper, and my handmade die cut flower.

Card #2

A masculine Easel Card: clocks from Artiste CTMH Cricut digital image set + circles metal die cuts + stamps (CTMH) + pp with a hand-drawn border.

Card #3

Pop-Up Box Card: I'll have a video showing how I made it later...Sides were dry embossed (CTMH Wood Panel Embosing Folder) and inked in brown, other dies are Spellbinder, Sizzix and SU!, sequins, spray and metallic inks.

{Sun} Sweets: Toucan Die Cut Card

Happy Sunday, Kraftie Friends!

It's been a while...but I have a card to share today, using die cuts.

When I get my die cut machine out...can't just cut 1 or 2 designs...so, even if I don't need them right away, I die cut whatever I can fit in the scraps, then organize them in small photo boxes to use later.

I used a negative panel, leftover from previous cuts, and added new die cuts to make this card. Most die cuts are Sizzix (Jungle Shadow Box) and some are Spellbinders.

French Dies {Fri}: Botanical Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I have a few cards to share using Die Cuts + Botanical Themes...

Here's a way (or 2) to make the most out of your die cut scraps...

Card #1 - Trim a card front panel and after you die cut, use the scrap as a window or frame:

I popped the frame with Foam Tape on a stamped panel. Then, added stamped/shaped flowers (they were colored with alcohol-based markers).

#2 - Plan where you die cut on a panel and use the negative as part of your card design

{Mon} Masculine Card: Father's Day for August???

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

A Father's Day card...you must be thinking I'm waaay behind this year...but did you know that Father's Day is on the second Sunday of August in Brazil?
That's where I grew up, so instead of behind...I'm actually working ahead of time! =)

It's Your Day!!! Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Father's Day is around the corner, so I'm sharing a cute masculine card today!

I stamped sentiment (Jack Cardmaking Stamp Set - CTMH) several times on the back panel, distressed the edges (wiht Edge Distresser) and adhered it on green card base.

I trimmed a printed paper panel (Club Scrap Succulents Collection) and adhered it on the left side.

I stamped the bear, cut it out (but there are Thin Cuts dies available - Jack Cardmaking Stamp set + Thin Cuts) and adhered it to the card.

{Sun} Sweets: Dragonfly Card

Happy Sunday, Kraftie Friends!

I was able to make a couple of cards last week, using new goodies...and today, I'm sharing one that's a bit more masculine...guys can dance with dragonflies, right? =)

I printed some elements out (Color Me Happy Digital Kit- Club Scrap), trimmed and inked the edges.

After layering, I added some stamping (Color Me Happy Art Nouveau unmounted stamps - Club Scrap).

I wanted to add more embellishments, but didn't...'cause then it would get too girly! =)

Masculine Christmas Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Christmas is almost here...just a few more cards to share...

These are more masculine and also, in non-traditional colors, inspired by the Dec Technique Challenge at Club Scrap:

I've used scraps from different Club Scrap Collections like Moroccan Spice and Creative License, and Metallic Pearlescent Blue paper from Woven Strands...

Dies are The Stamps Of Life (Stitched Rectangles), Big Top Pearl Stickers and Shades of Winter Dazzles Snowflakes are Club Scrap.

It's hard to see, but the card above has metallic shine on the printed papers...

This one is very CAS...I printed the image and sentiment on a white panel and blended some "sky" in! Then, I added some washi tapes before adhering the panel on kraft card.

And here are my projects!

First one, with my kids in mind (using an image from Cre8tive Hands)...

...and a second card, using an image from STAMPlorations:

Both images were both colored with silver gel pen, Copic and/or Distress markers (Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Markers).
I added Mod Podge Dimensional Magic on the first one.
The second card has ink splatters (Tsukineko All-Purpose Ink), washi tapes (Journeyman Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz Idea-ology and Recollection) and a sentiment stamp (CTMH).
