One Layer Rejoice Card

Happy Sunday!

It's almost December!!! I have to finish my Christmas cards!

I've been experimenting with All-Purpose Inks and Ink Potion n.9 (Imagine Crafts)...and made a one layer card...unusual colors, I know...

I watercolored the background, stamped the Angel (in blue and black) and the sentiment, and added some more details using ArtBars (Derwent). Finally, I used Glitz Glitter Gel (CTMH) on the Angel.

Stamps are from a retired CTMH Hostess stamp set.

I bought a $1 doily from Target and cut out "Give Thanks" in my Cricut.

I stamped leaves (Inkadinkado) with Memento Paris Dusk, watercolored them with ArtBars (Derwent) and cut them out.

Adhere all with foam tape (or use glue gun) and add ribbon/lace on top for hanging!

I didn't want to waste the paper, so I fussy cut the right edge and layered the photo mat on:

I added embellishment cutaparts, ribbons, medallion and sequins with brads...

Mixed Media {Mon}: Club Scrap Moroccan Spice ATCs

Happy Monday, Crafty Friends!

Today, I have 3 ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) to share...I haven't made ATCs in a while, so I thought I would get back to it! =)

1. I used several stamp sets from Club Scrap - Moroccan Spice Collection - for the background:

2. Color the background with Gel Sticks (Gelatos) and blend with baby wipes:

3. (not pictured) I used Twin Tags Honeycomb Stencil for the background. I inked with VersaMark and heat embossed the ATCs in clear, for a subtle textured background.
4. Stamp sentiments on white cardstock, trim, ink edges and adhere to ATCs.

{Sun} Sweets: Reindeer Christmas Card

Happy Sunday!!!

I have a quick card to share today:

The reindeer and patterned strip are from pocket scrapbooking cards (CTMH).
I stamped garlands on the panel and used silver shimmer trim (CTMH). I added a hand-drawn frame and Glitz Glitter Gel around the panel.
Stamped cookies are Club Scrap (Handmade Holiday stamp set).
Sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches #213 and colors from Stampin'Royalty #304.

Time Out Card CASE-ing: Joy Card

Hello, Crafty Friends!

A card inspired by Time Out Challenge #44...you're supposed to CASE a card from Karen. And I used the color inspiration from 52CCT: purple & green (although, I used a metallic version):

I used Moroccan Filigree Masking Stencil (Club Scrap), sprayed Color Shine Chartreuse (Heidi Swapp) and trimmed the panel to size. I cut "joy" out of black cardstock with my Cricut and inked in metallic purple.

Washi Meets...The Card Concept DT #44: Photo Inspiration - Christmas Card

Hello, Crafty Friends!

It's time for a new challenge at The Card Concept - {Festive Glory}!

Here's my mixed media card...I was inspired by the colors and poinsettia plants:

I used pocket scrapbooking cards for my background. I added washi tape and gold dots (dimensional fabric paint). I stamped collage using 2 different inks, tore and inked the edges.

I stamped poinsettia image (Inkadinkado), colored with paint (All-Purpose Ink from Imagine Crafts) and Copic markers and added gold dimensional paint in the center.

I decided to add more stamping (small snowflakes: Frosty Friends - Rubber Dance Art Stamps) and more gold dots.
