Here's my card, using STAMPlorations' image:
I printed the image and trimmed the white panel. I pierced the edges and added some washi tape. I used Distress Stain to color the flowers. After it was dry, I outlined the flowers with an alcohol-based marker and color the centers with a yellow marker and glitter glue.
I outlined the frame and panel with a black pen, and adhered it to the pink card base.
I blended some ink on the edges of the card and panel using the round blending tool.
Finally, I added some sequins.

...and a second card using All Dressed Up's I Love My Puppy image:
Isn't she a cutie? I colored the image with alcohol-ink based markers and colored pencil. I added some "grass" with markers, then a stamped sentiment, washi tapes and sequins.
I also stamped "Happy Birthday" on the inside...this is going to my niece!

Your flowers are so pretty, Lilian! I love how you placed them in the 'sweet spot' of your design, and adding Washi was such a fun idea!

Like how you placed your pretty flower panel over the splatter background.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at STAMPlorations too. :)
Love the washi tape and sequin "pops" on your card, and the spatter is a surprising, but very effective detail :) Love it!!

What a lovely pair of cards, Lilian. Pretty flowers and sweet little girl with the puppy. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth these cards are oh-so-sweet! Love how the splatters are escaping the square of flowers in your first make.
ReplyDeleteI love how you colored this sweet little girl, Lilian! Such a darling design, too...I'm sure your niece is going to love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful duo of cards you've created! I thought it was so enjoyable to see such different kinds of cards. Each one was such a clever rendition of flowers and each one made me smile! You did some interesting techniques and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful card! I love the original design on your first floral card and the beautiful colouring with the All Dressed Up image!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your lovely comments! They make my day! =)
