Mixed Media {Mon}: Stenciled Cards
Tuesday, February 23, 2021Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!
I have a couple of cards to share today, using stencils...Card #1 Freestyle Stenciled + Stamped Card
Inspired by colors and plant from The Card Concept #149 challenge, I inked the stencil and placed the cardstock panel on top to get the impression. I stamped "wire" image and silhouette floral on. Then, I added washi tape, a stamped sentiment (with foam tape) and some sequins.
Card #2 One Layer CAS
I used a stencil to ink the background and stamped the sillhouette floral image + sentiment. Then, I placed the stencil over again, inked it with VersaMark, and heat embossed it with Clear+Glitter powder.
Challenges:
Card #1
Card #2
1. CAS Mix Up Feb Stencil Challenge: Stencil Heat Embossing
3. Simon Says Wed: Favorite Technique (Heat Embossing)

I love both of your beautiful cards, but especially like card #1! The background and added bling look amazing! Thanks so much for joining us at More Than Words this month for the mini-challenge.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards show your bold choice of stencils. I love the colour scheme of the second one layer card, but not so keen on the sparkle going across the silhouette. I think it breaks up the silhouette too much. Still, it's a perfect CAS one layer card for our challenge, thanks for playing along with us at Less is More.

Two beautiful cards Lilian! The one layer card is so beautiful with the stenciled background and silhouette flower. Adding the glitter through the stencil gives it a very creative and unique look. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteI love how you've layered the stenciled stripes and stamped silhouette flower, then embossed the stripes with glitter! So sparkly and fun! Thanks so much, Lilian, for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these cards. Very creative to give a mixed media look by stenciling then adding the sparkle. Thanks for joining in our birthday festivities at Less Is More.
