Page on the Left:

I trimmed one of the 8.5 x 11 printed papers and adhered it on the left edge of the black printed paper.

I trimmed 2 Embellishment Cutaparts I wanted to use, and the tan photo mat into a 4.5" square.

I used the wide ribbon from Lagoon Fibers to make a little "holder" for the Lagoon Mini Glass Bottle and Tag. And I adhered the teal photo mat on using foam tape for dimension.

Page on the Right:

I used the other piece of the trimmed 8.5 x 11 printed paper on the right edge. I trimmed more Embellishment Cutaparts elements and embellished them with Lagoon Starfish Rhinestones and a Silver Coin.
I added some Lagoon Teal Jewel Stickers for "bubbles" and some on the Embellishment Cutapart quote at the bottom.

Glitter Brush Pen Club Scrap Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I have a couple of cards to share today...first one is for the Club Scrap August Challenge Technique - Embossing on Dark Paper - that I'm hosting this month! If you haven't joined yet, you still have time to play!

I stamped the image (click HERE to see the stamp set) with VersaMark, on black paper, and heat embossed it in white. I die cut (ODBD) the panel out with my Cuttlebug.
Then, I decided to try out my Glitter Brush Pens (Spectrum Noir) in different colors...
As you can see below, it didn't work! =)

But it still looked pretty, so I played with it a bit...while trying to forget how frustrating it was to assemble the pens...I did break one...I guess, I'm pretty strong...
Anyway, after it dried, I blended the glitter with my fingers to spread out the glitter accumulated in certain areas.

Here's the second one:

I used the same frame die, and stamped the sentiment and image (Club Scrap Lagoon Jumbo unmounted stamps) on.
I highlighted some words with alcohol-based markers and colored the mermaid tail and bubbles with Glitter Brush Pens (in green and clear)...this time it worked! You can see the color!!!
Then, I added some Lagoon Teal Jewel Stickers on.

Club Scrap August Artist Team Challenge: Pinterest

This month, the Club Scrap's Artist Team Challenge was inspired by Pinterest’s newest feature, “Tried it”.

We had to visit the Club Scrap Pinterest account, choose a Pin with a technique or tutorial that inspired us, then make projects inspired by that Pin.

I chose this PIN (click HERE to see it)...unfortunately, the link is to the original post is not working...but I like how the designer created her mermaid!

And with the newest Collection - Lagoon - with the awesome papers and stamps...you can see why I was inspired by it! =)

The original is an Art Journal Calendar Page and it looks like you can hang it on the wall...I decided to make mine as a Scrapbook Page:

I chose the Dark Teal - Deluxe printed paper (with the pretty starfish) as my base, and I adhered the Deluxe White printed paper (with the seahorses) on.
Next, I adhered a photo mat, cut out some tails from Deluxe Sand printed paper and adhered them on the page.

"Nemo", the clownfish (Lagoon Art Nouveau unmounted stamps), was stamped, colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut out. I adhered him on the page with foam squares (for dimension) and I also coated him with Dimensional Magic.

Mermaid: I stamped the tail (Lagoon Jumbo unmounted stamps), colored it with Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out. I drew the rest of the body on white cardstock, colored the skin and hair and cut it out.
I gave them some shine by using Glitter Brush Pens...hopefully you can see it in the photo below:

For her "hair", I stamped the aquatic plants (Lagoon Art Nouveau and Lagoon Jumbo unmounted stamps) on white cardstock, colored them and cut them out.

Unfortunately, I didn't think of taking pics before I adhered them...but you can see above (at least a little bit) how I cut them out. I also used Glitter Brush Pen on them.

After I had all the pieces ready, I adhered her body first, tail and 2 of the "hair extensions".

Finally, I added some Lagoon Teal Jewel Stickers as "bubbles" for the seahorses and "Nemo".

They are quite shiny:

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - August 2017

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

It's Planner Inspiration time at Paper Sweeties!!!

I used my Mini Happy Planner, plus Paper Sweeties stamp sets (click to enlarge):

This is a sneak peek of my next week...so it looks very naked still! But I'll add more stuff and I'll post it later!
I stamped icons and words, using Planner Series: Get Your Craft On and Planner Series: Wedding (I even "created" a new word - "Show" - partially inking the "Shower" stamp).
Then, I used a stamp from Planner Series: Shapes (bottom right).
I added some washi tapes, overlapping some of them.
I'll probably add some stickers once I figure my week out.

Club Scrap August Technique: Old Technique with a Twist

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

It's my turn to host the monthly Technique Challenge at Club Scrap!

I chose one of my favorite techniques…heat embossing!

It’s an oldie, but goodie technique…but not very challenging (you might be thinking!)…so let’s add a twist to it!

The challenge is to use heat embossing on dark-colored papers!

Anniversary Cards

Paper Sweeties August Inspiration Challenge - Anything Goes!

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

It's August already! I say this every month...'cause time is flying by!!!

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Sweeties...can you believe that Paper Sweeties is celebranting their 5th Anniversary???

Here's my card, inspired by the colors and theme:

I die cut Sweet Cuts Window and adhered it on patterned paper. I added the Seam Binding - Sugar Sprinkles - and adhered the panel to card base. I made a bow and adhered it on card.

I stamped 2 flowers (Thankful stamp set), colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, cut them out and added some glitter in the centers.

I stamped flower and circle frames, and ribbon (Planner Series - Shapes) and cut them out.

I adhered the circle frame on the ribbon, wrote "Happy 5th!" and adhere it on the bow.

I adhered 3 flower frames on top of each other and added the Sequins - Cupcake Sprinkles in the center.

Then, I sprinkled Sequins - Cupcake Sprinkles on the Sweet Cuts Window die cut.
