Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge - April 2017 Anything Goes!
Saturday, April 01, 2017
Hello, Kraftie Friends!
It's time for a new challenge at Paper Sweeties!!!
Here's the photo for the Anything Goes - April Inspiration Challenge...
I love the flowers...I was even inspired by the window!
Here's my card...
I found some plastic sheets...perfect for a shaker card!
I used Ken Oliver's Color Burst Liquid Metal - Heavy Metals on watercolor paper and let dry. It's hard to see, but there's some gold on it, too!
I die cut the "window" (Sweet Cuts - Window Elements) and trimmed the panel. I inked the edges with Distress Stain (Tim Holtz).
I adhered the plastic on the back of the panel, sprinkled some Sequins-Cupcake Sprinkles in the middle of the card and adhered the window panel on, using foam tape.
For the flower planter, I taped woodgrain washi tape on red cardstock and die cut, using Sweet Cuts - Window Elements.
I stamped and die cut 5 flowers (Thankful stamp set and Sweet Cuts - Thankful), colored them with Illustrator by Spectrum Noir alcohol-based markers and adhered them on the card.
I added some Mod Podge Dimensional Magic Glitter- Gold on the flowers' centers (on the front).
Finally, I adhered some Sequins-Cupcake Sprinkles on the panel.
