The Card Concept #61: Washi Meets...{Pretty In Pink}

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

It's time for a new challenge at The Card Concept - {Pretty in Pink}! 

Here's the gorgeous photo inspiration:

Here's my mixed media card, inspired by the typewriter and colors:


I tore a piece of patterned paper and adhered it on card...can you see some of the typewriters (or parts of it, anyway...)?

I trimmed a white panel and distressed the edges. I mixed All-Purpose Ink with water on my craft mat and smooshed the panel down, a coulpe of times. Happy with the result, I placed the panel on my table, put a sheet of dried wet wipe on and placed a book on top to flatten the panel. This gave my panel an interesting texture...maybe if you click on the photo, you might be able to see it...
After it dried, I embossed the panel, added washi tape (CTMH) and adhered on card.
I stamped typewriter (CTMH) twice and I cut the second generation image out. Then, I stamped the sentiment in brown.
I adhered it on card and added a flower with a sequins in the center.
