Mixed Media {Mon}: CAS Scene Card

Monday, July 18, 2016

Happy Monday, Kraftie Friends!

Here's a simple mixed media card for Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenge - Create A Scene!
They choose a random winner (for a $50 voucher) every week! Isn't that cool?

I stamped flowers from Simon Says ROSES FOR YOU stamp set, using ink pads (Simon Says Stamp Premium Dye Ink Pad FERN Green, Simon Says Stamp AUDREY BLUE and ISLAND BLUE) on a white panel.
I splattered API, inked the bottom edge with Simon Says Stamp FERN Green, added the ribbon and adhered it on card base.
I die cut flowers from the matching dies (Simon Says Stamp ROSES FOR YOU Wafer Dies), stamped roses on, using Memento ink pad, and adhered on some flowers.
I stamped "happy" (Simon Says POOL PLAY), inking it with 2 ink pads - AUDREY BLUE and ISLAND BLUE - for a ombre' look.
Finally, I added some sequins.

You can find the supplies I used at Simon Says Stamp store!

  4. Now this is simply gorgeous. I love the use of lighter inks. Very pretty! We are so blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. We have a new Challenge going on and we hope you can link with us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God’s Word in Jeremiah 32:17 which says, “‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”

    God bless,
