Mixed Media {Mon}: Counting Stars...

Happy Monday, Kraftie Friends!
A card using my new Gel Press and Dina Wakley Ranger SQUARES Paint Comb:
I also used blue, purple and black pearlescent paints, a circle foam "stamp", Stampabilities embossing folder, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Decorative Stars Set (I Cuttlebug embossed and heat embossed a star in silver; I cut out the other 2 stars from recycled printed paper that I didn't like the way they turned out and heat embossed them in silver) and sequined thread.
Challenges:
1. Double D Challenge: Shades of Purple
2. The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #26: Reach for the Stars

This is such a pretty card! I love how you've got the bold stars on the front, yet you've mirrored the stars so subtly in the background. Way to carry the theme throughout! I also adore the color palette, which is both soft and energetic. Great touch with the twine, too! Thanks for sharing your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
