Celebrate Pop-Up Box Card
Saturday, January 30, 2016
Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!
I've always wanted to make a pop-up box card, but never got around to it!
But when I received Club Scrap's Celebrate Jan Kit, I knew it was time!!! =)
I followed the tutorial (from Splitcoast Stampers) for A2 cards...it looks difficult, but if you do the math right (unlike me), it's not that hard!
Now, if you're like me...I had to cut 3 pieces of paper just to get the box right! =)
I made sure the embellishments were not sticking out of the card.

Assembling the Pop-Up Box (sorry about the weird colors...my camera was in the wrong setting):
I used clear plastic strips (from a clear package) for the crown and star.
I adhered the other embellishments on the tabs inside the box.
I added ribbon and Paper Fasteners.
Here's the card closed:
This is how it looks with the flaps down:
I made sure the embellishments were not sticking out of the card.
