Club Scrap July Artist Team Challenge: ATCs in Pockets
Friday, July 29, 2016
Hello, Kraftie Friends!
Club Scrap's Artist Team was challenged to make Artist Trading Cards (ATC) and/or Pocket Letters this month.
If you came from Debbie's Blog, you're in the right place!
This is the last stop, so you could go back to Club Scrap's Blog and hop again! =)
If you get lost, you can go to Club Scrap's Blog, for the complete list.
ATCs are small pieces of artwork (2.5" x 3.5") that are intended to be traded, not sold.
Pocket Letters were created by Janette Lane and are basically ATCs in a 9-pocket page protector (like the ones for baseball cards), to be sent to a friend or exchanged. You can fill these pockets with embellishments and other goodies.
I like to make ATCs once in a while, for challenges. They are also great to test out new techniques and/or products!
I have never done Pocket Letters, so I decided to make one, too.
Here are the ATCs:
I used Club Scrap Office Space paper as the base, adhered Japanese newspaper on (with gel medium), watercolored with Gel Sticks, did some stamping (Transformations unmounted stamps), and embellished with Transformations Embellishment Cutaparts, ribbons and a wooden
button.
I also backed the ATCs with another piece of paper, so you can't see the mess on the back.
I managed to edit a video tutorial:
And here's the Pocket Letter, using Office Space supplies:
Office Space papers
Office Space Quick Brown Fox Stencil
Office Space Embellishment Cutaparts
Office Space Memo Stickers
silver clip
Office Space Fibers
File Folder Die Cuts
Office Space Jumbo, Greeting and Art Nouveau Unmounted Stamps
