{Thu} Technique: Origami Hearts

(This is my second post...if you would like to see my project for MHKDesigns' Jan Challenge, please click HERE)
Hello, Kraftie Friends!
My kids and I are starting on Valentine's Craft Projects (or more like...find a craft project to entertain my kids...), so I thought I would make origami hearts with them!
We used 12x12 scrapbook papers and they are great as wall decoration!
This is where I found a photo tutorial, 'cause I couldn't remember how to do it - Easy Origami Heart.
Then, I decided to make a card for a few challenges:
I used Quad Prints (Club Scrap) for the hearts (just the right weight - not too thin nor thick)...I trimmed 3 squares: 1.75", 2.5" and 3".
I place a strip of washi tape on the black card base and hand-drew stitches with a black pen. After folding the hearts, I placed them on the washi tape.
I stamped and heat embossed "love" (Club Scrap - Celebrate Jumbo stamp set) in silver on black cardstock, cut it out and adhered on card.
Finally, I added some sequins for some shine!
Challenges:
3. Club Scrap Jan Technique Challenge: use origami folded elements (Prize: $10 Club Scrap Gift Certificate)
