Spring Hello Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

An easy card using one of my favorites Stamp of the Month by CTMH (December 2021) + some older papers from my stash box:

I used alcohol-based markers (on flowers) and journaling pen (for border), foam tape for dimension and sentiment is another one of my favorite sets...

French Dies {Fri}: Die Cutting Gone Wrong...

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I was testing out this new die cut I bought recently...but since my Cuttlebug machine is old...it didn't really work out the first time...so, I decided to use the panel as an "inlaid" panel or "faux embossed" panel...which ever works for you! lol!

I used metallic inks and markers to color the "inlaid/faux embossed" panel. Flower, borders and splatters are stamped.

Birthday Cards

Heat Embossed Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I haven't done heat embossing for the longest time, so here are some cards using silver, gold and clear embossing powders...

Card #1 Floral Get Well

Card #2 Dress

(I entered this card in CASology #381: Memories...memories of when I used to wear dresses...not recently for sure! lol!)

Card #3 Clean and Layered Drink Card

I stamped a second cup, cut the top to make a mask out of it, so I could stamp the marshmallows "inside" the cup.

For Card #2 and #3, I used some trimmed card panels from my Craft With Heart Cardmaking Kit Subscriptions...this way, I can make 2 cards out of 1 card base!

How-to:

1. Stamp the images with Versamark ink pad and sprinkle embossing powder of choice. Tap off the excess. If you have powder in places you don't want, use a fine paintbrush to brush it off.

2. Use the Heat Tool to melt the powder ( I blow it on the image to blow off some excess powder, then I heat from the back first)

3. You can use color pigment ink pads to stamp your image and sprinkle clear embossing powder for a glossy look (Card #3).

4. You can add different colors on one image (From the CTMH Blog: Embossing with 2 Powders)

I love watching the powder melt!

Mixed Media {Mon}: Spring Fold + Valentine's Jar Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I was looking for some fancy-fold cards and stumbled upon this Spring Card...so I created Card #1 with these instructions HERE and used some scrap papers and pre-stamped flowers I had on my desk. Then, I colored the flowers with Shimmer Brushes.

I randomly taped washi tapes on a white cardstock panel. Jar was stamped, cut out and colored with alcohol-based markers. Then, I added some ScanNCut die cut hearts and sequins.

{Sun} Sweets: Slimline Cupcakes!!!

I used Freshly Made Sketches #467 sketch below and STAMPlorations Jan CAS Challenge (optional) Pink + Red + Orange color combo to create a couple of Slimline CAS cards...

Card #1

I used an old but unused stamp set on Card #1 (cupcake, hat and sentiment on right), and another sentiment from Cutie Pie Stamp set.

Card #2

Sentiment on left is from an old but unused stamp set and the rest is from Cutie Pie Stamp set.

I used glitter ribbon on both and colored the images with alcohol-based markers.

{Sat} Sketches: Winter + Valentine's Day Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I made some cards for sketch challenges...trying to use up some scrap papers and die cuts...

Card #1

I used different die cuts on Card #1...Border punch, machine die cuts and CTMH Comfort & Joy - Scrapbooking Stamp Set + Thin Cuts Poinsettias. Metallic accents are ColorBox Smooch.

Card #2

I'm using a new stamp (Bunny) + old ones (CTMH) here to create a scene. Colored with Alcohol-based markers and ColorBox Smooch. Sentiment from CTMH Twinkle Stamp Set.
