I have 2 cards to share today!
First up is a CAS card:

I stamped the sentiment (Celebrate Greeting stamp set - Club Scrap), added the kraft strip and the arrow (cut out using left over ink smooshed paper) and some sequins.

My second card...I used STAMPlorations' Jan Sketch, Club Scrap's Celebrate Greeting stamp set and Celebrate Circle Overlay Stencil:

I ink smooshed the panel on the left side, added some washi tape (Stampin'Up and Doodlebug Designs) and sequin. I stamped the sentiment and sponged different colors, using the stencil and Tim Holtz's round blending tool. I also splattered some All-Purpose Ink (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko).

Club Scrap has a new Artist Team Challenge AND it's a Blog Hop!!!

This month, we were challenged to incorporate Circles or Round Elements in our projects...I was inspired by the Celebrate Embellishment Diecut sheet.

Here's my project:

I literally used circles in my project! Lots of them!!! =)
It's a backdrop...right now it's embellishing my living room. My boys love it!

I cut out circles using my ScanNCut in 6 different sizes.
I used 3.75", 2.25", 2" and 1.25" for the stamped ones. I used Celebrate Art Nouveau and Jumbo stamp sets and different color ink pads.
I also used 2 circles from the Celebrate Embellishment Diecut sheet.
I adhered the biggest circles on ribbon and the others were hung on sequined embroidery thread.
You can back them up with a circle of the same size, but I used 1" circles instead.

I really wanted to add glitter glue on the stamped designs, but since I'll probably re-use it for my boy's birthday party, I restrained myself!

This is my project...an explosion box for a friend, who got married recently:

I used foiled and regular patterned paper for the cuts...I used Mini Books and CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridges.

I made some alterations to the cake box in the center, though...I made it shorter by trimming the sides down:

I printed a Bible verse for the top flap and a label for the bottom one - with their names and the wedding date:

I added some embellishments (dimensional stickers) and decorated the "cake" and the lid with flowers and/or dimensional sticker.

Club Scrap Blog Hop: Big Top

I have lots of projects to share...it's gonna be a long post...

Since I moved recently, I decided to buy a cake and cupcakes to celebrate the crazy move with my family...so, I made a cake topper and cupcake picks.

First, the Merry-Go-Round Cake Topper:

I stamped the tent (Big Top Borders & Backgrounds stamp set) on pink cardstock, trim it and colored some details with gel pens.

I stamped the animals (Big Top Collection stamp set) on white cardstock and trimmed it in a way that I could attach the tent and base. I colored the images with Copic markers and gel pens.

I stamped the border (Big Top Art Nouveau stamp set) on patterned paper and used a silver gel pen on the stars.

The Striped Washi Tape came in handy, since I didn't know where my tape was...

Then, I made cupcake picks...

Simply fussy cut the animals from the patterned paper:

I ended up taking pictures of the picks using the cake...my 3 year-old son insisted on carrying the cupcakes in...and of course, he dropped the box (as you can see below)! =)

Now, if you like to stamp and make cards...the first 2 cards are easy to create using the Big Top Collection stamp set, patterned papers and Big Top Adhesive Pearl Stickers...

...plus Big Top Fibers...

Here's another card using Big Top Art Nouveau stamp set, patterned paper, Big Top Fibers, Big Top Embellishment Cutaparts and Striped Washi Tape...

One more card using Big Top Borders & Backgrounds stamp set, Big Top Collection stamp set, patterned papers, Striped Washi Tape and Big Top Adhesive Pearl Stickers...

For all cards:

I splattered some inks with a paintbrush or painted stamped images using All-Purpose Ink (Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts) in Poppy Red and Green Apple.

I inked the edges of the patterned papers and stamped images with brown pigment ink.

And if you're not into the circus theme...you can still use the papers for other projects...like this scrapbook page:

I don't really take selfies, but these were for a hair cut from a couple of years ago...

Decorate to Celebrate DT Challenge #100: Cupcake Picks and more...

Hello, Crafty Friends!

It's time for Decorate to Celebrate today! You can create anything 3-D...for a change to win a prize from Rhonda - a set of cards!

I made these cupcake picks for my son's birthday party at Day Care:

Shapes are from the Artiste Cricut cartridge and coordinating stamps are CTMH.

I also made this wall decoration for his "other" party, with family members:

"Happy" and "Birthday" are from Artbooking Cricut cartridge and foam mustache is from Hobby Lobby.

I made a bow using wrapping paper:

Finally, a card from Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge:

Owl Thank You Cards

These are "Thank You" Cards I am working on for friends...

Stamps are by Colorbok an Unity Stamp Co. and I used an embossing folder from The Paper Studio (found at Hobby Lobby stores); paper flowers from Prima and gemstones from Hampton Art.

cupcake picks

Owl Birthday Party

These are some of the pics I took from my son's birthday party...I'll probably have the ones from my photographer this week...so, more to come! =)

I made the owls' picks with the Stampin'Up! Owl punch. Too cute to pass! I assembled them and drew the eyes myself with a Sharpie. The stars' picks were cut with my Slice machine (call me crazy...but I don't have a Cricut!).

The water bottle labels were punched with a Martha Stewart's border punch. Brown strips were hand stamped, circle labels were cut with the Slice and the stamped little owl is from CTMH promotion Whoo's your Valentine for January 2013.

N's First Birthday

It's been almost 5 months...but here are the pics from N's B-Day party.

The cake was inspired by this tutorial posted on my Tumblr blog... I made the banner using Stampin'Up rubber stamps.

My friend Carol made all the yummy stuff...don't forget to visit her Etsy shop!

I had another table with more food and drinks...but I guess I forgot to take pics...

Party Favors:

For the kids: a Goodie "box" stamped (Fancy Pants Designs and Ippity stamps) and embellished with foam stickers from Hobby Lobby.

And for the adults: marshmallows by Carol with handstamped tags (Inkadinkado and 7Gypsies stamps).

It was a rainy and cold day (not what I expected). But it was so nice to see good friends and family!
