{Tue} Technique: Gel Press Watercoloring
Tuesday, January 18, 2022Hello, Kraftie Friends!
I had these gel printed papers laying around and used them to make some cards for a few challenges...
If you have a gel press and some dye ink refills, try dropping some colors of your choice on the gel plate and spray some water. You can spread the ink with paintbrush or your fingers...then, press cardstock or watercolor paper on.
I would spray more water after each print to get more pastel colors...
Then, I stamped some images and trimmed them out to make the cards...I chose a stamp set with cups (retired CTMH Stamp of the Month) for some challenges (they remind me of the cups in "Beauty and the Beast").
Challenges:
Card #1
1. CAS Mix Up Jan: Loose Watercoloring
2. Use Your Stuff #439: Inspired by Disney
3. Cupcake Inspirations #535: Tea Time
Card #2
1. STAMPlorations Jan Theme & Photo Prompt: Stamps & Cups
