From the Scrap Box: Die Cuts

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I have been finding too many good sketch challenges lately...plus I'm trying to use up my die cuts that were in my scrap box...

I die cut them before because I didn't want to waste pretty papers...but haven't done anything with them...now it's the time!

On the first 2 cards, I'm using my new favorite stamp set You Brighten My Day (CTMH).

Other supplies: CTMH Strokes of an Artist (retired), Blue Belle Loose Sequins, Shimmer Brushes, CTMH Cricut Artbooking (banners), Smooch (Clearsnap)

Another favorite stamp set - Every Bit of Wonderful (CTMH) - $7 is donate to Operation Smile if you purchase this stamp set. I also used Distress Stickle, Fabrico and PITT artist markers and Shimmer Brushes.

I used washi tapes, Blue Belle Loose Sequins, Shimmer Brushes, markers and Smooch (Clearsnap).

I used 1 Stamp Set to create 4 Cards...the first 2 cards were inspired by Sketch Challenges...I didn't think I would like this stamp set that much...but I love it!

Not really the same, but the bird reminds me of that Pixar short film "For the Birds"...lol!

Sketchy Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I'm back with a few cards, inspired by Sketch Challenges...

Card #1 You Make My Heart Happy

I layered stamps from You Brighten My Day and Every Bit of Wonderful Stamp Sets (CTMH); added a strip of PP; stamped sentiment (Every Bit of Wonderful) on PP, inked the edges and adhered on card with 3-D thin foam dots.

Card #2 Merry Christmas

I used Every Bit of Wonderful and No Peekin' Stamp Sets (CTMH).

Card #3 Enjoy Your Day

I used a retired sentiment stamp (CTMH), and some die cuts from my scrap box. The swirls are from CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy and were colored with a Shimmer Brush. Butterfly die cut and frame were sprinkled with Distress Stickles.

A Wild Bunch

Birthday Side Step Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I'm usually too lazy to make fancy cards, but I've been working on some Fancy Fold and Step cards and other 3-D cards, just to challenge myself.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this one...it was a Side Step card base gone wrong, but I decided to cover it with patterned papers from left over projects anyway...

Then, I saw a challenge at The Paper Players on the weekend...and decided to make a funny Birthday card:

I decorated the inside with a strip of cardstock, too:

I used CTMH Woodland Greetings and the new A Wild Bunch stamp sets. The Woodland animals actually have their eyes closed originally, but I drew some cute eyes with a journaling pen.

{Sun} Sweets: Floral Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I have a couple of cards to share today...

Card #1 Floral Celebration

Flowers (Floral Celebration Stamp Set) were colored with Glitz Sea Sparkle Markers (Jane Davenport) and doodle frame was done with PITT Artist Pen.

Corners are from (X9017) Mix-In papers.

Card #2 You Make My Heart Happy

Banner was watercolored and stamped with Every Bit of Wonderful sentiment. Flowers from the same stamp set were cut out and adhered with foam dots.
