I love plants and succulents are everywhere nowadays!
That's why I decided to make a Table Top Decoration piece this month...something Spring-y and the best part of it...I don't have to water it! =)

Start with a paper mache' letter "O" (or the number "0"). I chose a deep one, so it can stand on its own.
Paint it with brown paint and before it dries, rub a plastic bag on for a faux leather texture:

Trim the printed paper of choice to size and adhere it on the back of the "frame".
Use a die cutting machine (I used Cricut CTMH Flower Market Cartridge) to cut different succulents (if you don't have a machine, there are also metal dies or pre-cut pieces available). I used the light green paper from the Succulents Collection.
Watercolor the pieces in green and a little bit of purple.

I also cut "Springtime" and did a ombre' watercoloring in blue.
It was a lot of cutting! =)

Shape the pieces and assemble the succulents. I just shaped them on the palm of my hand:

Adhere the succulents on the printed paper and one on the frame.
I ran "Springtime" through my Xyron and adhered it on frame.
Finally, I die cut a butterfly and adhered it on the frame.

I made an easy flip card, using a Cricut CTMH Cartridge:

I used printed paper for the card and the light green paper for the cut out insert.
I added some Easter washi tape from my stash and added the ribbon (Succulents Fibers) on the flap.
