Club Scrap October Artist Team YouTube Challenge

This month, Club Scrap's Artist Team Challenge is to visit the Club Scrap YouTube channel, choose a video tutorial with a technique and create a project inspired by the video.

I chose to make a Card Folio (watch the video HERE) + some Pop-Up Cards (watch it HERE) and a Fun-Fold Card (inspired by this video HERE):

I used Pattern Play papers for the Card Folio, and papers and Embellishment Cutaparts for the Pop-Up Cards (the bright orange is colored printer paper).
I used self-adhesive Velcro for the closure, instead of the buttons and fiber, shown in the video:

I used the newest Scandinavia Collection for the Fun-Fold Cards...papers, Embellishment Cutaparts and the cute Scandinavia Pine Washi Tape.

EyeConnect Crafts: Totem Cat Purr-fect Halloween Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Today is my turn to post at EyeConnect Crafts' Blog!
We don't really celebrate Halloween like crazy, but our kids kind of dress up (when they feel like it!) and go out trick-or-treating.
We also give out some candy to the neighbors.

This collection is so fun with all those cute critters...I decided to make a 2-page scrapbook layout, showing off my sweet "puppy":

I used Scandinavia Deluxe Kit...I matted some photos and adhered them on the pages.
I trimmed a Scandinavia Felt Flower in half and adhered them on the sides of 2 photos.
Then, I added some Embellishments Cutaparts..."Happiness" was adhered on with foam tape, as well as the Fox Charm.

Jordan is my sable & white Shetland Sheepdog and he just turned 1 year-old recently!

{Tue} Technique

{Tue} Technique: Blended Background Wreath Card

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I haven't used my blending tool for a while, so decided to make this card for a Class I taught last Saturday:

I blended 2 colors on a stamped panel (A Grateful Heart - CTMH), colored the image with alcohol-based markers and adhered it on card.
Then, I added some washi tape.

Here's my card:

I used STAMPlorations stamps on a Walnut Ink Spray smooshed panel.
After layering and adhering panels on the card, I sprayed irRESISTible Neon in Electric Yellow and Electric Green and let it dry. These sprays give a nice extra texture!!!
Then, I stamped the shoes on orange cardstock, cut it out and adhered it on with foam tape. I also added some Dimensional Magic on the straps.

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - October 2017

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

It's Planner Inspiration time at Paper Sweeties!!!

I used my Mini Happy Planner, plus Paper Sweeties stamp sets (click to enlarge):

I stamped the pumpkin (Thankful stamp set), cut it out and adhered it on the planner.
I stamped icons and words, using Planner Series: Get Your Craft On, Planner Series: Wedding, Planner Series: Shapes and Planner Series: Coffee.
Then, I added some washi tape and stickers.

Frosted Christmas Tunes Card + Workshop

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

Have you started making your Christmas/Holiday Cards?

I had a few made before, and this week, I made a small batch of 18 using 2 12"x12" sheets of papers and some white cardstock scraps (+ card bases).

Here's one of them:

Stamps (Christmas Tunes and Frosted Christmas) and printed paper (Beary Christmas) are CTMH, can't remember the brand for the blue paper...

I outlined "cold" with ShinHan Touch Twin Tender Pink marker, colored the globe with Spectrum Noir markers and coated it with Dimensional Magic. Then, I adhered it with foam tape.

Card sketches are from CTMH Wishes book.

Scandinavia Love You More

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I got some new stamps...and made a One Layer CAS Card yesterday:

I stamped the border with 2 different colors of ink and stamped the sentiment in black (Club Scrap Scandinavia Art Nouveau unmounted stamps).

I stenciled the yellow strip and some woodgrain in brown (Club Scrap Orchard Today's Special stencil), using my Round Blender Tool.

Then, I added Dimensional Magic - Gold Glitter on parts of the images for texture:
