Here's how I made the card...
1. I cut out 4 flower images.
2. Shaped the smaller pieces with a stencil brush (on a soft pad).
3. Used foam tape on the back of the smaller pieces.
4. Trim pastel blue cardstock to form a 4 1/4" (W) x 4 3/8" (H) card. Trim a 4" (W) x 4 1/8" (H) piece of pastel pink cardstock. Ink and stamp Rose in VersaMagic Pixie Dust and heat emboss in clear, as shown. Ink the edges. Center and adhere the flower on. Then, center and adhere panel on card front.
5. Layer the pieces.

Supplies: stamp (Impression-Obsession), VersaMagic Dew Drop Pixie Dust ink pad and Clear Embossing Powder (Tsukineko), floral patterned paper.
This card also uses scraps from other projects...and I thought I would show a different technique here besides rubber stamping... =)
The flower is from a patterned paper (bought at a closeout store) that I've used to make simple scrapbook layouts for the mothers at my church. And it is perfect for a Paper Tole (3-D) Card!
Here's a different view of the card.
Oh, didn't post yesterday because I was feeling under the under...I still have a headache, but...oh, well! It's the weather...
So, this is my first published card! Haven't posted it before because I didn't have a good picture of it.
Published in "The Rubber Stamper", Nov/Dec 2006, p. 41.
Stamp Credits: Stampin'Up! (can't really see it though...it's the background on the tan tag) and MSE! (My Sentiment's Exactly!)
The picture was taken in a small town in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The other day I was taking pictures in my mother-in-law's garden...and guess what?
A beautiful butterfly posed for me for several minutes. Check it out!
