{Tue} Technique: Heat Embossed Succulents + Gloves Card

Tuesday, February 22, 2022

Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I made some cards with the Heat Embossing technique - one of my favorites.

Card #1

I heat embossed Hero Arts pot (in gold) and succulent (in silver), watercolored them with diluted dye inks, and fussy cut them. I die cut and dry embossed a panel, stamped a sentiment and added some metallic paint. Then, adhered the panel on card base, and stamped images on with Foam Tape.

Card #2

Tip: Use Heat Embossing to cover up mistakes (or patterns you don't like)...lol!

Not going to lie...I die cut the "gloves", dry embossed and colored them with alcohol-based markers, but did not like the end result, so I heat embossed them in gold and silver! Then just layered some scrap papers, stamped a sentiment and added a ScanNCut heart with Foam Tape.
