Happy Saturday!!!

Here are some more cards I made, for some of my favorite challenges:

I used Club Scrap's Twin Tags Masking Stencil Fern and stamps (Dahlia Art Nouveau and Greeting unmounted stamps), Distress Stains (Tim Holtz/Ranger) and some sequins.

Challenges:

2. CAS Mix Up April Challenge: (my choice was the using Distress Stains)

For my second card, I used yellow Gel Stick (aka Gelato for kids), a torn sun, stamp and sequins:

And lastly...this one is not really mixed media, but I thought I would include it here =)

I used Club Scrap's stamps (Dahlia Art Nouveau and Greeting unmounted stamps) and die-cut butterflies (SU!), sewn together for a 3-D look...the thread is also used as antennae:

  7. Hi Lilian! Your cards are gorgeous! The CAS card is so beautiful and I had to look twice because the colors are so soft I thought it was stamped on vellum! Your sunshine card just makes me smile...I love your sentiment with the bright yellow sun! Your butterfly card with all the vivid colors remind me of spring! I will have to stop by more often! Hugs

  12. This was one bright bit of loveliness after the other. I love the softness of the first splashy card and then WAM! You hit me with a bold burst in that butterfly card and that sunshine card - it's so abstract & cool! I've always wondered how the "gel" sticks stack up against the normal gelatos. Any insight there? Thanks for playing along at both STAMPlorations & the Mixed Media Card Challenge!
