The Card Concept #50: Happy St. Patrick's Card
Wednesday, March 02, 2016
Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!
Welcome to a new challenge at The Card Concept - {Shamrocks, Patternds & Greens}!
The team is divided into the different styles and each designer explains how they were inspired by the challenge!
Here's the inspiration photo:
Feel free to use any of the styles of our team or better yet, share you own style by combining one or more of the styles. We want you to have fun and make a card in a style that you feel good about!
*****************************************************
Here's my mixed media card, inspired by the shamrocks and colors:
How-To:
1. I sprayed Ink Potion no.9 on watercolor paper and "watercolored" it with All-Purpose Ink (both Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko) with a paintbrush. Let dry.
2. I trimmed panel to size, printed shamrocks, mostly on the right side and colored them with green colored pencil.
3. I added printed image and sentiment. I inked the edges with VersaMagic ink pad.
3. I added ribbon on the panel and adhered it to the green card base.
4. Add a bow on basket (I used metallic embroidery floss).
