I Woof You! Card

Happy Saturday, Kraftie Friends!

I made the background of this card a while ago, while I was watching the Olympic Games...and used the colors from the Brazilian flag. I grew up in Brazil, if you didn't know that! =)

I stamped and heat embossed the background in clear and I watercolored it with Gel Sticks (I made another card using the same background and rainbow colors, but heat embossed in white...click HERE to see it).
I die cut the panel using Stitched Rectangles (The Stamps of Life) and left it on my table...until I saw the challenge at The Color Throwdown #408:

Then, I stamped the doggie (CTMH), outlined it with a brown Copic marker and colored the heart balloon red, also with a Copic. I also had this patterned paper from BasicGrey (do you miss it like I do?) on my table, so I trimmed it and adhered it next to the doggie.
I plan to give it to my son, who started kindergarten this week...
